Amaretto is a sweet Italian liquor that features an almost syrupy, almond flavor. Amaretto Sours combine the sweetness of amaretto with the tartness of citrus for a delicious cocktail often enjoyed during the summer.

  • 2 oz Amaretto Liqueur 
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup 
  • Luxardo Cherry (for garnish)

Hawthorne Strainer

Cone Strainer

Preparation Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake.
  2. Using a Hawthorne strainer, strain into an Old Fashioned Rocks Glass over fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with a Lemon Twist and Luxardo Cherry.
