One of our favorite fall traditions is picking up a fresh jug of apple cider from a local farm. Cider is delicious on its own of course, but it’s also a wonderful mixer for fall cocktails. This recipe is a riff on the classic old fashioned but it brings in some fresh fruit flavors for an ideal drink that is sure to make everyone a little happier to see fall.
Ingredients:

- 1 Sugar Cube (or 1 teaspoon granulated sugar)
- 1 dash of Orange Bitters
- 1 dash of Black Walnut Bitters
- 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
- 1 oz. of Apple Cider
- 2 oz. Bourbon
- Apple Slice (to garnish)
- Luxardo Cherry (to garnish)

Preparation Steps:

- Place the Sugar Cube into mixing glass. Douse the Sugar Cube with Bitters.
- Muddle contents with muddler.
- Add Whiskey and Apple Cider.
- Add ice, then stir rapidly with a mixing spoon to chill and until sugar is dissolved.
- Prepare an Old Fashioned Rocks Glass and place a large ice cube inside.
- Using strainer, pour contents of mixing glass into the tumbler.
- Garnish with a Luxardo Cherry or Apple Slice.
