While a traditional mojito is made with mint, lime, rum, sugar, and sparkling water, this cocktail recipe adds coconut milk for a smoother texture and tropical taste! Or just remove the alcohol and you have a refreshing mocktail!

 

Ingredients:

  • 5 Mint leaves
  • 1.5 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 Lime
  • 2 oz. White rum
  • 2 oz. Coconut milk
  • Sparkling water

Preparation Steps:

  1. In a shaking tin, muddle the mint leaves, sugar, and 1 lime wedge.
  2. Using a citrus juicer, squeeze the juice from the remaining lime into the cocktail shaker.
  3. Add rum, coconut milk, and ice to the cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly.
  4. Strain into a highball glass or stemless martini glass filled with ice, then top with sparkling water. 
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and lime.
