Nothing beats a homemade margarita on a hot summer day. This cocktail takes a spin on the traditional margarita to incorporate cucumbers for a fresh flavor straight from the garden. Garnish with a chili salt rim for some heat with a cucumber wheel and you’ll have a wonderful drink to enjoy on the porch with friends.
Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 oz. Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz. Triple Sec
- 3/4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 3-4 Cucumber Slices
- Chili Salt (mix equal parts salt and chili powder), for garnish

Preparation Steps:

- Rim the top of an Old Fashioned Rocks Glass with lime wedge, then dip into Chili Salt.
- Place cucumbers in shaker and muddle until juice is released.
- Add Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, and Simple Syrup, fill with ice and shake.
- Using a Hawthorne strainer, strain into the rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with cucumber wheel.
