Garrison Brothers Distillery is a family of bourbon makers and bourbon lovers that were hell-bent on making the very first legal Texas bourbon. In fact, their whiskey has become so popular locally that new releases lead to hundred-car lineups down the road to the distillery starting at the crack of dawn. This release was no different – so when Garrison Brothers asked if we’d like to try HoneyDew, their new honey-infused straight bourbon whiskey, we were incredibly excited to give it a taste!

On the first sip, you can taste the smoothness of bourbon, followed by the Texas-made Burleson’s Wildflower Honey. While the classic whiskey sour is an obvious choice for a cocktail, we thought this bourbon would pair wonderfully with citrus flavors for a unique spin on a crowd favorite. The flavor combination of mandarin and rosemary makes this cocktail perfect for summer, fall, or even during the holidays.
