The inception of this delicious cocktail is based on the memory of a drink we enjoyed at a restaurant many moons ago where we tasted mezcal for the first time and subsequently fell in love with that smoldering temptress. The smokiness of the mezcal in contrast with the tart sweetness of fresh blackberries makes this one a favorite among our friends and a great introductory cocktail for those starting to explore mezcal cocktails.
