This time weathered drink came into existence after the First World War in Bermuda where sailors spent time experimenting with mixing the local Gosling’s Black Seal rum and ginger beer. Even today, the Gosling family claims ownership of the recipe, trademarking the recipe in 1991 to ensure that only cocktails made with Gosling Rum could carry its name. The iconic Dark ‘n’ Stormy is an extremely simple combination of rum and ginger beer served with a slice of lemon – give it a try in your home bar!

- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- 5 oz Ginger Beer

- Combine Rum and Lime juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake.
- Using a Hawthorne strainer, strain into Highball Glass.
