Named after the 1922 movie Blood and Sand, this savory citrus-based drink is a favorite amongst Scotch lovers, especially considering it’s versatility. It can accompany you on a low key night out, join with fine dining, or a casual relaxed evening. The “blood” in the drink’s name is a double reference to both the movie as well as the the Cherry Heering– the orange juice standing in as the “sand.” This is a timeless classic that has stood strong throughout the ages and doesn’t need a makeover any time soon.
